The Parish Council purchased the playing field from Durham County Council for the use of the community.

It has since been placed in Trust with the Fields in Trust group to ensure that it is protected from development and retained for the use of the villagers now and in the future.

The Pavilion and Sports / Playing Field facilities are available for use by third parties and can be pre booked by downloading the PDF form below, printing it out, filling in the boxes and either posting or scanning it and emailing it to the Clerk to request its use.

Please note that the facilities may already be pre booked, especially at the weekends,  for Cricket matches or for the Ingleton Village Fayre in June.

The upgrade and Grand Opening of the newly refurbished Cricket Pavilion - July 2006

In 2003 the old Pavilion building was in poor condition and funding was secured from a European Grant to refurbish it.

The work commenced during 2004 and it was completely upgraded, both inside and out.  A new kitchen was installed, electrics were upgraded, the roof was replaced and modified and the outside walls were clad over the original brickwork.

In July 2006 there was an official opening ceremony.

The pictures opposite show the transformation.
